Introduction

Gmail is the world's most popular email service. Connecting Gmail to QClaw enables powerful email automation—from smart sorting to automated drafts.

Prerequisites

Before setup:

✅ Google Account with Gmail
✅ 2-Factor Authentication enabled
✅ QClaw installed

Step 1: Enable 2-Factor Authentication


1. Visit: myaccount.google.com
2. Security → 2-Step Verification
3. Follow prompts to enable

Step 2: Generate App Password

Create App Password


1. myaccount.google.com
2. Security → App passwords
3. Select app: "Mail"
4. Select device: "Other (Custom name)"
5. Enter: "QClaw"
6. Click "Generate"
7. COPY the 16-character password
   (You'll only see it once!)

Step 3: Connect to QClaw

Open QClaw Settings


Settings → Connectors → Mail → Gmail

Enter Credentials
